
As I started writing this comic, I realized how rare it really is these days to know someone who killed someone else. Even finding someone who has to live with a fatal car accident in their past is pretty rare, much less finding people who willingly did a thing that got someone else killed. I happen to know three, two car accidents and one who had to kill a man in self defense, and that is of hundreds of people I have met over the years. But in a world post-collapse, you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone in any sort of position where they go out past the confines of whatever community might have established itself, and who HASN'T killed at least once, and probably gotten used to it by now. I find it interesting to think about the kind of conversation that two such people might have with each other.
